Frequently asked questions
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It’s formulated with a gentle vitamin-C derivative (ascorbyl glucoside) plus ferulic acid and vitamin E in a cushioned base (glycerin, jojoba, almond/avocado/rosehip oils). However, it does contain fragrance and essential-oil components with naturally occurring allergens (e.g., limonene, linalool, citronellol; EU list also includes geranyl acetate, beta-caryophyllene, carvone; US list can include citral). If you’re very reactive to scents or essential oils, patch test first and introduce gradually (2–3×/week).
How do I use it for best results?
Use on clean, dry (or slightly damp) skin. Apply 2–3 drops to face and neck.
AM: Cleanse → Vitamin C Serum → moisturiser → SPF.
PM (optional): Cleanse → Vitamin C Serum → moisturiser.
Tips: Let it settle 60–90 seconds before layering. If you feel any tingling, buffer with moisturiser.
When will I see results?
Immediately: enhanced glow and comfort from humectants/emollients.
2–4 weeks: brighter-looking tone and improved radiance with consistent daily use of ascorbyl glucoside; ferulic + vitamin E support antioxidant protection.
Ongoing: skin looks smoother and more even when combined with daily SPF.
Can I combine this with retinol/acids/niacinamide?
Yes. It layers well with niacinamide and most hydrators. If using retinol or AHAs/BHAs, apply those in the evening and use the Vitamin C in the morning (or alternate nights) to minimise sensitivity. Keep it to one strong active per routine, and always finish daytime routines with SPF
Pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No retinoids or salicylic acid in this formula. It does contain fragrance/essential-oil components (see allergen note below). If scent-sensitive during pregnancy, patch test and discontinue if irritation occurs. When in doubt, consult your healthcare professional
